Carbis Bay, part of the larger St Ives Bay is a member of the "Most Beautiful Bays in the World Organisation" and has been awarded a Blue Flag for water cleanliness and covers an area of some 25 acres.

Carbis Bay Blue Flag Beach

As a world heritage site it has been voted best resort in England and fourth best in the world, using factors such as beach quality, friendliness, outstanding natural beauty and Cultural activities.

Parking is available with direct access to the sandy beach. A ramp leads down to the beach and is suitable for disabled access, but because of the gradient it does not conform to the full wheelchair access requirements and supervision will be needed.

Dogs are not allowed on the beach from the Sunday before Easter until the 30th September, except between the hours of 5 a.m. and 8 a.m. Carbis Bay Beach awarded Blue Flag status for the 14th consecutive year in 2019, one of only a handful in Cornwall to achieve this coveted award.
